Comparing Traditional And Temporary Braces

My apologies. This essay did not work for me. We can discuss comprehensive orthodontic care or limited short term orthodontic care. The visual appearance between them is nil. In comprehensive care the goal is to create the absolute best bite and appearance within a longer time frame, perhaps one to three years.

In limited short term braces (six month braces) the goals are a quick improvement of the most obvious visual shortcomings. The bite can still be changed but less so. There are almost always limitations in orthodontics but there are more limitations and compromises with the short term approach. There is no such thing as “temporary braces”. In fact since orthodontic brackets are wires are removed after treatment regardless of how long it took- all braces are temporary.
